Phlebodium aureum

Common Name: Blue Star Fern

A wonderful, epiphytic fern which produces beautiful and dramatic fronds with a powder blue coloration. It has fuzzy, orange root rhizomes as an interesting added feature. A truly stunning specimen, blue star ferns are do not come with the "fussy drama" of some other varieties of ferns and are quite drought tolerant; making them a shining 'blue' star in our book! Native to South America, Central America, and even some tropical/sub tropical parts of North America.
