Philodendron gigas

This plant has lovely, dark-green, velvety foliage that can be seen climbing high in the tree canopy. It has a similar appearance to p. melanochrysum when younger, but the foliage matures into a rounder, thicker leaf. Gigas is a rare but easy houseplant that performs best as a climber on a totem or trellis. Native to Panama.
